Day 25 - Worcester to Queens Head

Friday 3rd October - 14 miles, 28 locks

Set off early 8.35. Not a bad morning. Sailed to the first lock on the Birmingham and Worcester canal - only 57 to go after this one. Cruised on 28 locks in all today spaced out along the 14 miles. All locks seemed to be set against us and there was not a boat in sight coming towards us.

Couldn't resists the lure of the Queens Head after all that hard work. Sat outside under the gazebo with the heaters on. Enjoyed a delicious steak. Paul had a pizza. Back to boat pleasantly full before 9.00pm to watch the telly. Went to sleep fairly quickly in spite of being moored opposite the busy pub.
