Day 24 - Stourport to Worcester

Thursday 2nd October - 12 miles, 7 locks (3 staffed)

Sue playing with the swans at Worcester racecourse moorings
Slow start as we filled up with water did a pump out, sorted monthly accounts and cleaned the boat. After a dull start the weather brightened up and we sailed down the River Severn to Worcester. Moored at the racecourse.

Strolled along the river it was like being at the seaside. Popped into the Diglis hotel for a drink able to sit out in the garden. Amazing for 7.30pm in October. Enjoyed Lasagne back at the boat. Quite noisy overnight it is the first time we have moored there in university term time and the students were returning to their digs at all times of the night.
